Need a reminder about just how brutal the workplace can be? Then HBO has your back with its newest drama, Industry.
Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, the eight-episode series follows a group of recent graduates who are hired by a major financial firm. Each of these new recruits is as messy, secretive, and hungry as they come. But one recruit stands head and shoulders above the rest. Wondering who plays Harper in HBO’s Industry? We have you covered.
Who Plays Harper in HBO’s Industry?
That would be Myha’la Herrold. She’s the face of one of Pierpoint & Co’s most driven recruits. Everything from her race and gender to her status as an American makes her an outsider in this competitive London world. But that’s certainly not going to stop her.
What Else Has Myha’la Herrold Been in?
Herrold, much like the rest of Industry‘s cast, is a bit of a TV newcomer. Prior to Industry the actor starred in an episode of Prime Video’s Modern Love, “So He Looked Like Dad. It Was Just Dinner, Right?” She’s also starred in the Sundance film Premature as well as in the short The Tattooed Heart.
Who Else Is in Industry‘s Cast on HBO?
Fittingly for a show all about new blood, Industry‘s cast is filled with actors starring in their first major role. Marisa Abela stars as the privileged Foreign Exchange Sales hire Yasmin. Nabhaan Rizwan stars as the overworked and under-appreciated Hari. And Harry Lawtey and David Jonsson star as this series’ two hyper-sexual roommates, Robert and Gus.
Industry also stars Lost, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and X-Men: The Last Stand star Ken Leung. Leung portrays Eric Tao, a managing director at the firm who takes Harper under his wing. Rounding out the cast is Skins star Freya Mavor and Game of Thrones actor Will Tudor.
